President’s Message

In 1991 Notre Dame Institute of Education (NDIE) under the visionary outlook of His Excellency Bishop Anthony Lobo and the dedicated leadership of the Australian Sisters of Mercy initiated a pathway for teacher education in Pakistan. Today, three decades later, the institute has continued to fulfil its mandate of promoting positive change in teacher education. This is achieved by empowering educational practitioners through inquiry, critical thinking and reflection to explore, innovate and aspire towards best practices for optimal teaching and learning.

May the blessing and wisdom of God continue to oversee and guide NDIE in the successful implementation of its educational endeavours in the years ahead.
