1- Who is eligible to enroll in this ECCE course?

The applicants who have successfully completed intermediate with at least 50% marks in any discipline and possess good English Language skills.

2-I am interested in this course but have no/very little background in ECCE. Can I still enroll in this course?

Yes, this course will immensely benefit individuals who are associated or planning to work with young children (0-8 years).

3- What are the key areas of this course?

The significant areas include: foundation of early childhood; understanding child development theories and learnings; health, nutrition and hygiene; setting the learning environment; play experiences; early childhood curriculum and pedagogies; assessment in the early childhood settings; partnership with families and the communities; child rights and violence; supervised teaching practicum.

4- Who will benefit from the course?

Principals, educators, teachers and trainees, school administrators and individuals associated with the field of Early Childhood Care and Education.

 5- How will this course help me?

This six-month course will give you an understanding about Early Childhood Care and Education along with the factors that are influential in the lives of young children, their environment, communities and families. Participants will benefit through an opportunity to experience a range of pedagogies at the early years to motivate, captivate and engage children throughout their learning.

6- How will this course help in my professional practice?

This ECCE course will enrich you with the requisite knowledge and skills to maximize young children’s learning in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

7- What will be the assessment procedure/criteria during the course?

You will be assessed formatively throughout the course. In addition, there is a summative component where you need to plan and deliver a lesson in your respective classroom (in-service participants). Pre-service participants will be assigned to teach in one of our cooperating schools.

8- What is the fee structure?
