Dr Sherwin Rodrigues is the Director of Notre Dame Institute of Education (NDIE), Karachi. He earned his doctorate from the University of Oxford, Department of Education, UK. Dr Rodrigues has been a teacher and a teacher educator for over 20 years. His area of expertise is classroom assessment with particular emphasis on the use of alternative assessment techniques to promote students’ learning across subjects and grade levels. Dr Rodrigues has taught several courses at MEd including Quantitative Research Methodology, Assessment of/for/as Learning, Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Testing and Evaluation and Academic Literacy. He has presented papers at national and international conferences and has publications to his credit.
