Objective:

By the end of the course the participants will be able to: 

• reflect on the importance of reading culture for students;
• explore strategies to engage children with books; and,
• discuss different pre-reading, reading and post-reading activities.

PROFILE OF THE FACILITATORS

Mr. Munir Lalani is a Faculty at NDIE. He is currently doing PhD from AKU-IED. He teaches different courses to the BEd (Hons) students. He coordinates the professional development activities of the Teacher Educators of National Catholic Education Commission (NCEC) from the platform of NDIE.

Ms. Rabiya Ali Faridi has served as the Head Librarian of NDIE since 2013. She has also conducted professional development sessions for librarians and school teachers. In both local and foreign periodicals and magazines, Rabiya has contributed her writing.
